About project:
We are looking for a Certificate Administrator for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities:
- As a Certificate Administrator, you will be requesting, issuing, renewing, and revoking digital certificates to ensure secure communication and identity verification across systems and services;
- You will be tracking certificate expiration dates and coordinating timely renewals to avoid service disruptions and maintain system integrity;
- You will be maintaining a complete and accurate inventory of all active certificates in use within the organization, supporting visibility and governance;
- You will be enforcing certificate usage policies and internal standards to ensure consistent implementation and risk mitigation across environments;
- You will be ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices, such as those related to encryption standards and data protection;
- You will be continuously monitoring for any misuse or compromise of certificates, initiating rapid response when anomalies are detected;
- You will be configuring and maintaining OCSP responders and Certificate Revocation List distribution points to support real-time certificate status checking;
- You will be ensuring high availability and robust security of all Public Key Infrastructure components, contributing to overall trust and reliability;
- You will be responding to certificate-related incidents, investigating root causes, and executing remediation measures as needed;
- You will be revoking and reissuing certificates in response to security events or system changes, minimizing exposure and maintaining continuity;
- You will be collaborating with DevOps, IT, and application teams to integrate certificates into systems and workflows, ensuring proper implementation and automation;
- You will be maintaining clear and updated documentation for certificate policies, operating procedures, and certificate inventories;
- You will be generating regular reports on certificate usage, compliance status, and potential risks, supporting audits and ongoing risk management.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing internal and external digital certificates, with a strong understanding of certificate lifecycle best practices;
- 2+ years of experience working with Certificate Authority platforms, demonstrating the ability to operate, configure, and troubleshoot certificate issuance processes;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Direct experience with certificate management platforms such as DigiCert, allowing for efficient handling of enterprise-scale certificate operations;
- Familiarity with GlobalSign and similar providers, supporting multi-vendor environments and diverse integration requirements;
- Solid understanding of PKI concepts, including asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, and certificate trust chains;
- In-depth knowledge of X.509 certificate structures and their applications across various technologies and systems;
- Experience with managing the full Certificate Lifecycle, from request to revocation, supporting automation and process optimization;
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for applying technology to resolve challenges and strengthen infrastructure security;
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving peers from different departments.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a multinational environment managing more than 1,000 certificates, demonstrating scalability and organizational coordination;
- Familiarity with certificate automation and tooling, including the implementation of certificate management platforms;
- Experience with automating certificate discovery, issuance, and renewal processes, streamlining operational efficiency and reducing manual errors.
We offer:
- Salary for work amounting to 65,000 – 75,000 PHP;
- Monthly transportation allowance of ₱4,000;
