About project: 

We are looking for an Automation QA for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities:

• As an Automation QA, you will be understanding and complying with the organization’s defined Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards to ensure structured and high-quality testing practices;
• You will be familiarizing yourself with various testing approaches, including System, Integration, and Regression Testing, to effectively support test planning and execution; 
• You will be developing and refining the organization’s automation strategies and processes, contributing to more scalable and efficient QA operations; 
• You will be designing and reviewing the architecture and implementation of automation test suites, ensuring coverage, maintainability, and reliability of tests; 
• You will be collaborating closely with the Manual QA team to identify test cases suitable for automation and provide feedback for improving manual test coverage and quality; 
• You will be executing manual test cases when required, supporting flexible QA needs during early stages or edge-case validations; 
• You will be implementing and monitoring automation processes, tracking test execution and generating status reports that reflect project progress and quality;
• You will be recording test-related activities in ATLAS and escalating issues or risks to your supervisor when necessary, ensuring transparency and alignment;
• You will be performing validations to ensure compliance with defined CMMI procedures and guidelines, supporting process integrity and audit readiness;
• You will be working in close coordination with development and support teams to ensure smooth collaboration across the software lifecycle;
• You will be expanding your knowledge of business processes and IT systems to better understand the context of test scenarios and technical dependencies;
• You will be preparing and submitting required reports to document testing progress, defects, risks, and results for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Quality Assurance or testing, with strong programming skills and the ability to build and maintain robust automated test suites;
• 2+ years of practical experience in Manual Quality Assurance or testing, enabling effective test case validation and collaboration across teams;
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
• Working knowledge of various testing types, including white-box and grey-box testing, allowing for thorough and targeted test coverage;
• Familiarity with different test automation frameworks and backend automation techniques to support diverse system testing needs; 
• Experience working with database technologies to validate backend processes, data integrity, and test automation involving stored data;
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining Master Test Plans, outlining the strategy, scope, and objectives for test efforts across projects;
• In-depth understanding of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and the entire Software Development Life Cycle, supporting quality from planning to delivery; 
• Extensive knowledge of testing tools, techniques, standards, and quality assurance processes, ensuring structured and efficient test development and execution;
• Exposure to business operations in areas such as manufacturing, distribution, or finance is considered an advantage, allowing better alignment of testing with business goals; 
• Experience in working within various system development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), with the adaptability to fit different team and project structures; 
• Prior experience in leading a small QA team on small to medium-sized projects, demonstrating capability in task delegation, mentorship, and quality coordination; 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with advanced communication abilities, enabling you to clearly present findings and collaborate across teams;
• A critical thinker with a keen eye for detail, ensuring high standards in defect identification, test planning, and documentation.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Testing Certification, demonstrating formal training and recognition of your testing expertise and methodology knowledge;
• Experience with performance testing tools and practices, supporting the validation of application scalability, responsiveness, and system load handling.

• Salary for work amounting to 95,000 – 105,000 PHP;
