• As Backend Developer you will be understanding and analyzing business processes, providing structured inputs to enhance existing solutions and clarify change request requirements before implementation; 

• You will be evaluating change requests to determine feasibility, estimated effort, technical compatibility, and dependencies with current systems, ensuring safe and sustainable modifications; 

• You will be consulting with your Immediate Superior or directly communicating with end users to clarify requirements, eliminate ambiguities, and align expectations before development starts; 

• You will be coding computer programs in accordance with established coding standards and best practices, performing unit testing to ensure correctness and stability of implemented features; 

• You will be managing customer relationships by maintaining high-quality service standards, ensuring responsiveness and overall user satisfaction;  

• You will be assisting users in resolving major and complex issues related to running computer programs, providing both technical fixes and functional explanations when required; 

• You will be understanding and complying with the organization’s CMMI standards, ensuring structured development processes and documentation discipline; 

• You will be maintaining and updating daily monitoring of service deliverables, ensuring that commitments and SLAs are consistently met; 

• You will be ensuring service continuity by flexibly supporting other team members when needed, contributing to overall team effectiveness; 

• You will be continuously expanding your knowledge of business processes and IT-related technologies to strengthen both technical and functional expertise; 

• You will be extending support and conducting technical knowledge-sharing sessions or training for Application Support members and Analyst Programmers, providing hands-on expertise and guidance when needed. 

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer, ensuring solid expertise in application analysis, backend development, and troubleshooting complex issues; 

• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) - Necessary condition; 

• Expert-level knowledge of Java 8 and Java 17, with a strong background in Full Stack Development and API integration, ensuring the ability to build and maintain modern, scalable backend systems; 

• Experience with MySQL, enabling efficient database design, query optimization, and data integrity management; 

• Experience with Tomcat 10.1, ensuring proper deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Java-based applications; 

• Experience with Maven and Ant, supporting structured build management and dependency handling; 

• Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS, Agile Scrum methodologies, and Git Flow, ensuring structured collaboration, version control, and controlled release processes; 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective diagnosis of technical and functional issues; 

• Excellent coding, debugging, testing, and prototyping skills, ensuring reliable and maintainable software solutions; 

• Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, practical solutions aligned with business objectives; 

• Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into efficient, maintainable program code; 

• Ability to test and debug program code to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with defined standards; 

• Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and technical documentation, supporting knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
