• As Software Development Engineer you will be designing, developing, and enhancing scalable applications as part of a cross-functional Scrum team, ensuring that delivered solutions are aligned with architectural standards and business requirements; 

• You will be conducting structured peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and overall code quality across the team; 

• You will be developing comprehensive unit tests and ensuring high test coverage, supporting long-term maintainability and reliability of the application; 

• You will be building and maintaining automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable validation of changes before deployment; 

• You will be collaborating with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers during backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to shared understanding and effective delivery;  

• You will be refactoring and optimizing existing codebases for performance and maintainability, improving system efficiency and reducing technical debt; 

• You will be troubleshooting complex issues and performing root cause analysis, ensuring that defects are properly identified and permanently resolved; 

• You will be maintaining clear technical documentation related to feature behavior, validations, and design decisions, supporting transparency and knowledge sharing within the team; 

• You will be contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and engineering best practices, promoting efficiency and technical excellence. 

• 2+ years of experience working in Agile or Scrum development teams, ensuring familiarity with iterative delivery, sprint ceremonies, and collaborative workflows; 

• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) - Necessary condition; 

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python, enabling you to design and implement robust application logic; 

• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of regular development work, ensuring code reliability and early defect detection; 

• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or JUnit, allowing you to contribute to automated validation and regression testing; 

• Familiarity with API testing and backend service validation, supporting end-to-end verification of system behavior; 

• Understanding of Agile or Scrum practices and CI/CD workflows, ensuring smooth integration of development and deployment activities; 

• Experience working with version control systems such as Git, enabling structured collaboration and controlled code management; 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, allowing effective investigation and resolution of technical issues; 

• Effective collaboration and communication skills, ensuring smooth cooperation within cross-functional development teams.
