About project:
We are looking for a Monitoring Analyst for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities:
As Monitoring Analyst you will be designing, deploying, and configuring monitoring solutions tailored to organizational requirements, ensuring end-to-end visibility of infrastructure, applications, and services;
You will be customizing configurations to effectively monitor a wide range of components, including servers, networks, applications, cloud services, and containers, ensuring proactive detection of issues;
You will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate monitoring solutions seamlessly into existing IT workflows, improving efficiency and reliability across the organization;
You will be maintaining and optimizing monitoring infrastructures to ensure functionality, stability, scalability, and efficiency, adapting them to evolving business needs;
You will be conducting regular performance analysis of monitored systems and applications, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements to enhance stability and responsiveness;
You will be providing rapid incident response to alerts generated by monitoring tools, collaborating with relevant teams to diagnose, resolve, and prevent disruptions;
You will be performing root cause analysis for incidents, contributing to post-incident reports and ensuring preventive measures are in place to reduce recurrence;
You will be documenting monitoring systems, including configurations, procedures, and best practices, ensuring clear guidance for current operations and future enhancements;
You will be training and guiding team members on the use of monitoring tools and techniques, promoting a knowledge-sharing culture within the team;
You will be developing and refining metrics and KPIs to measure monitoring effectiveness and align with business objectives;
You will be generating dashboards and reports to communicate system health, performance insights, and trends to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience with IT infrastructure and application monitoring, ideally in enterprise-scale environments;
Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) - Necessary condition;
Hands-on expertise with Nagios and SolarWinds, with the ability to design, configure, and optimize monitoring setups;
Strong knowledge of network concepts, server infrastructure, and application architectures, supporting a holistic monitoring approach;
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, or Python) for creating custom plugins and automation of monitoring tasks;
Proficiency in Linux or Unix systems administration, enabling deeper integration of monitoring in multi-platform environments;
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), including monitoring of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures;
Exposure to additional monitoring tools and frameworks, broadening adaptability to organizational needs;
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve incidents quickly and effectively;
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling coordination across diverse technical and business teams.
We offer:
Salary for work amounting to 60,000 – 75,000 PHP;
Monthly transportation allowance of ₱4,000;
₱3,600 monthly de minimis non-taxable allowance;
