About project:
We are looking for a Sales Engineer for our multinational client, one of the largest privately owned conglomerates in the Gulf region, operating across more than 30 countries. The company specializes in a wide range of industries including automotive, engineering, retail, logistics, and consumer services. They deliver innovative solutions and maintain a strong market leadership position across multiple sectors, supporting large-scale commercial and industrial operations worldwide.
It’s a direct placement role – not an outsourcing arrangement
Responsibilities:
As Sales Engineer you will be generating project enquiries from various sources such as corporate clients, consulting firms, public and private sector entities, individuals, and non-government organizations, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities;
You will be preparing and submitting quote request forms to the design and estimation department based on customer requirements or consultant drawings, ensuring accurate project estimation;
You will be preparing techno-commercial offers for customers, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and commercial expectations;
You will be negotiating with customers to finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and successful deal closure;
You will be coordinating with customers and head office teams, ensuring smooth and timely execution of projects;
You will be securing payments or letters of credit for projects, ensuring financial compliance and timely cash flow;
You will be preparing sales forecasts and reporting to immediate supervisors at regular intervals, ensuring visibility of performance and pipeline;
You will be conducting marketing and promotional activities, supporting brand visibility and lead generation;
You will be managing customer relationships and providing ongoing customer service, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention;
You will be developing new markets within assigned regions, expanding business opportunities and market presence;
You will be coordinating and working closely with senior management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives;
You will be finalizing contracts with support from management, ensuring compliance with company policies and business goals.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in sales within PEB Structural Steel project selling or construction equipment, ensuring strong domain knowledge and sales expertise;
Ability to work in an onsite setup across one of the client locations in Manila or Cebu, ensuring availability as a required condition - Necessary condition;
Experience within the PEB industry, enabling effective understanding of products and project requirements;
Knowledge of Civil Mechanical Engineering or Architecture, enabling understanding of technical project aspects;
Experience with MS Excel PowerPoint and AutoCAD, enabling preparation of reports presentations and technical documentation;
Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders;
Experience with people management, enabling coordination and collaboration across teams;
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, enabling successful contract closure and stakeholder alignment.
We offer:
Salary for work amounting to 60,000 – 80,000 PHP;
Comprehensive HMO coverage for the principal employee.
